Currently based out of Singapore, Vietnam and Australia, David operates at the highest levels of government and business, advising his firm’s clients on their most sensitive organisational, legal and personnel matters, known as ‘reputation management.’
David’s publicly acknowledged contributions to causes and campaigns include garnering awareness and support for the renewable energy sector, public health and tobacco control measures, as well as crafting of strategies to position clients and communicate their ‘truths.’
The author of #1 best-selling management book in Australia, Managing in Australia, David trained as a lawyer, was called to the bar, ran for Parliament, and served as advisor to a federal cabinet minister in his birth country of Canada, before establishing REPUBLIC Consulting.
David serves as Secretary-General of the INSEAD Alumni Association and was recently appointed Distinguished Fellow at INSEAD’s Maag Centre for Entrepreneurship.
David holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD, as well as the International Directors’ Certificate of Corporate Governance (IDP-C). He is a non-executive director for several companies.
