Colin Low

Colin is a dedicated Independent Board Director and Senior Advisor with boards and executive management experiences across US, Europe and Asia. He has worked in private equity, M&A, and managed investment companies and portfolios with MNCs and government sovereigns across multiple sectors including capital and finance, renewables, infrastructure, technology, oil & gas, marine and industrials, and healthcare. Leveraging on the MNC and management experiences at General Electric (GE) as the investment Board Director of the group investments across the Asia Pacific region and the executive role of President & Region Growth Executive (South East Asia), Colin joined certified board training at Insead University in Fontainbleau, France in 2012 and Leading from the Chair in 2014. He was a member of the ASEAN Council Board Member at Insead University (2008-2022).

Currently, Colin is the Independent Non-Executive Director (INED, since November 1st, 2019) and also just transitioned as the Chairman of the Audit and Risk Management Committee (in May 2022) at AET Tankers– one of the world’s largest energy logistics and ship asset capital leasing group. The group builds, own, operate, and lease petroleum tankers including high technology dual fuelled DPSTs and VLCCs to oil and gas majors, refineries, petroleum, and chemical corporations. He is also the Remuneration Chairman and INED to SGX listed Jason Marine Group, a communications equipment and servicing provider focusing on offshore vessels and oil platforms operating in the Asia region. Colin joined BLG Capital Advisors LLC, as Senior Advisor and Board Director since 1 Jan 2019. BLG is a globally diversified investment and asset management company with interests in healthcare, real estate, technology, and private equity. Colin advises BLG on its Asia Pacific (APAC) investment portfolio. The Diligent Institute (NY, USA) recently appointed Colin as their Advisory Board Member in January 2022. The Diligent Institute is the global corporate governance and think-tank of the Diligent Corporation, the world's largest SaaS software company in the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) space. It focuses on cutting edge insights on corporate governance and promotes the diverse views of business and corporate leaders in sharing modern governance best practices, including the most pressing issue of our time post COP26 Glasgow - Climate Change Governance.

Previous board roles included the Chairman of the Board for Singapore Mainboard listed Intraco Limited (a multi-sector investment management company) and chairs the Investment Committee (2014-2021); US National Board Member for the Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) headquartered in Boca Raton FL, USA, (2011-2018). CTCA is a rapidly growing network of regional hospitals (Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Tulsa, with physician networks in Mexico) in the US specializing in treating complex and advanced-stage cancer with an integrated and comprehensive "whole person, holistic" approach to medical care. Vice-Chairman of the Board for the American Chamber (2008-2012); the Council Member of the Singapore Government National Wages Council (2008-2012); Member of the Singapore Economic Development Board and Singapore Government Economic Steering Committee (2010); the Independent Board Director to OSIM International, a global health and well-being company listed on SGX with outlets globally (2010-2016); the Senior Advisor to Four Partners, a private wealth management group based in Europe, for investments into Asia (2013-2016); the advisory board member for global executive search firm, Spencer Stuart International.

Colin is a Lifetime Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Directors, and a Fellow at the Hong Kong Institute of Directors. In April 2022, he was certified on the Diligent Climate Leadership program. This is an ESG and climate skills program, especially for Boards and executive management teams to effectively oversee climate risks and create sustainable growth strategies for ESG based corporations.
