Biography

Christina Pamberg is a Managing Partner of Alcyon Holding, a Swiss family investment company, and oversees private equity and other investments in the alternative space. Alcyon has been investing in private equity since the mid-1980s and has a globally diversified portfolio. Before Alcyon, Christina was with Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) in London heading capital raising activities for Europe and the Middle East. Christina also worked at fund-of-funds manager HarbourVest Partners. In her five-year tenure at HarbourVest, Christina was involved in multiple aspects of private equity investing covering primary, secondary and direct co-investments, lastly serving as a Vice President in HarbourVest’s secondary investment group. Prior to that that, she was an equity analyst at Salomon Smith Barney in London.

Christina is a member of Invest Europe’s LP Council where she spearheads the Single Family Office Roundtable. She also serves on the Alumni Advisory Board of the INSEAD Global Private Equity Initiative (“GPEI”). Furthermore, she is a co-founder of Level20, a not-for-profit organisation set up to inspire women to join and succeed in the European private equity industry. Christina is Chairman of SIX-listed Banque Cantonale du Jura and is a Board Member of Deutsche Bank (Suisse) SA. She holds a B.A. from Amherst College and an M.B.A. from INSEAD.
