Biography
Bicky is an international executive with a career spanning Asia and UK. With over 18 years experience at Rolls-Royce, he has held roles from technology, business sales, marketing, strategy and corporate governance, with his last appointment as President, South East Asia, Pacific and South Korea, based in Singapore.
Bicky holds various non-executive appointments including President, UN Global Compact Network Singapore, serves as Council Member for the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF), Board member at Land Transport Authority (LTA) and Chairperson of Sustainability Action Committee (SAC) at SBF. Bicky is also serving on the Future Economy Advisory Panel.
Specific to education and talent, Bicky is an Adjunct Professor at the Nanyang Technological University, is a Board member at Singapore Polytechnic, is currently serving as an Advisory Committee member to School of Applied Science at Republic Polytechnic and is serving on the Department Consultative Committee, Electrical & Computational Engineering at NUS.
With a passion for business growth, Bicky has served as Deputy President at the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), as President at the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore (BritCham), as President at the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC). He has also served as Board member to Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS).
Bicky is a certified International Director of Corporate Governance with INSEAD. He has a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham, an MSc in Control Systems, a PhD in Advanced Machines and Drives from the University of Sheffield and an MBA in Technology Management. With strong passion for emerging technologies, Bicky is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering Technology (IET) and Fellow of Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS). Bicky was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Engineering by the University of Sheffield and Honorary Doctor of Letters by the University of Nottingham.
