Biography

Andrew leads the EY EMEIA Public Policy team, which supports EY client teams in the market on policy topics such as sustainability, technology, corporate governance and skills. A qualified solicitor, Andrew is particularly interested in the role of good governance in both business success and “doing the right thing.”

Andrew leads the EY Center for Board Matters for EMEIA, which provides thought leadership to board and audit committee members on regulatory developments, governance trends and other board-related matters. 

Andrew is the co-author of EY’s annual Long-Term Value and Sustainable Corporate Governance Survey and regularly writes blogs about the role of corporate governance in trust. As well as writing articles and speaking at events, he meets boards and audit committees of companies of all sizes about regulatory change and corporate governance.

Previously, Andrew focused on Corporate Governance & Public Policy in the UK, where he was a regular speaker on governance, chair of EY’s mid-market independent director network and sponsor and trainer for the FT Non-Executive Directors Club.

Andrew earned an LLB honors degree in Law and French from Cardiff University and a Legal Practice diploma from the Centre for Professional Legal Studies.
