Alvin Tan is a regional cybersecurity and enterprise technology leader with more than 30 years of experience building and scaling technology businesses across Asia Pacific. He has held senior leadership roles at Stellar Cyber, Tanium, Palo Alto Networks, and McAfee, leading market expansion across Asia Pacific while working with governments, financial institutions, telecommunications companies, and enterprises.
Alvin has extensive experience launching new markets and growing organizations from initial entry to strong regional operations. At Tanium, he established the company’s ASEAN presence from the ground up, building the regional team and customer base across multiple countries. Earlier at Palo Alto Networks, he led the transformation of the business, achieving 455% growth over three years.
An Accredited Director with the Singapore Institute of Directors and an alumnus of the INSEAD International Directors Programme, Alvin brings boards practical insight into cybersecurity risk, digital resilience, regional expansion, and technology governance.
