Akshay Khandelwal is a dynamic entrepreneur and technology strategist with a strong track record in digital economies, AI, and blockchain innovation. He has been the Co-Founder and CEO of Bowled.io, a Singapore-based platform that blends sports fandom with blockchain-powered social gaming. Since its inception in 2021, Bowled.io has attracted over 1M users across more than 125 countries and was featured on Shark Tank India.
In addition to Bowled.io, Akshay co-founded BeetleLabs, an AI-driven startup focused on enhancing business functions through intelligent automation. BeetleLabs leverages agentic frameworks to address critical business use cases, including compliance, user onboarding, and customer support. BeetleLabs is focused on building an AI powered Financial Compliance system.
Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Akshay led consumer product initiatives at ONE Championship, Asia’s largest sports media property. He also served as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising clients on digital transformation and growth strategies. Earlier in his career, he held technical and managerial roles at Halliburton.
Akshay holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. His expertise lies in building scalable digital platforms, fostering community engagement, and leveraging emerging technologies to redefine user experiences in the sports and gaming sectors.
Under his leadership, Bowled.io has formed strategic partnerships, including a collaboration with Sky Mavis, the creators of Axie Infinity, to enhance social gaming experiences for sports fans worldwide.
