Jens is a professor of strategy at INSEAD and at CEDEP, where he currently co-directs CEDEP’s GMP NXT programme, a 6-months spanning senior executive development programme dealing with the complexities and uncertainties of the modern corporate world.
He has been working on innovation and change for most of his academic career, covering themes and subjects such as Strategic Fitness, Business Intelligence, Blue Ocean Strategy, Corporate Transformation and Fair Process Leadership.
Jens joined Insead in the early 90s where he cofounded CALT – the Centre of Advanced Learning Technology - and later initiated and co-directed INSEAD Online. He directed INSEAD’s Advanced Management Programme until he joined CEDEP as Managing Director and later as Dean of CEDEP in 2010.
Jens has led a multitude of strategy and innovation projects across industries such as Chemicals, Pharma & Healthcare, Finance & Insurance, Hospitality, Alimentation, Cosmetics, etc. He joined in 2022 the “High Level Group” on Systems Innovation (Brussels based Think-Tank).
