INSEAD Directors Forum - Governance Imperative in a New World Order

INSEAD Europe Campus, Fontainebleau

Overview

A new world order is emerging as major forces are shaking up global economies and redefining the rules and setting new expectations for businesses. Seismic shifts stemming from geopolitical capitalism, economic stagflation, supply chain and energy disruptions, responsible technology, environmental, social and governance (ESG) agenda, diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), green finance and ethical integrity are compelling boards of directors to rethink and reassess their corporate governance practices in terms of strategic decision-making.

Organised by the INSEAD Corporate Governance Centre, the INSEAD Directors Forum on the theme “Governance Imperative in a New World Order” will be taking place on 25-26 November 2022, on INSEAD Europe Campus, Fontainebleau where we will address from macro perspective the forces that are shaping the New World Order and how boards of directors need to level up with new mindsets, competences, and structures with nomination and remuneration processes and policies aligned with organisational mission and corporate strategy for effective governance.

This year, we are once again bringing the flagship event back on our Europe campus with exciting line-up of speakers, plenary and panel sessions as well as parallel workshops. Whether you are looking to receiving your INSEAD Certificate in Corporate Governance, or seeking new perspectives on corporate governance strategies and practices, the Forum promises unparalleled opportunities for new experience through immersive learning tapping on INSEAD's latest Virtual Reality capabilities and enriching time of learning, group work, exchange and networking with peers, academic faculty and experts on campus and special dinner at the Fontainebleau castle to celebrate the Award Ceremony for newly certified directors on Friday evening, 25 November.
