Welcome
Dear alumni,
As you have experienced for yourself, INSEAD is a unique institution. So, in keeping with the school’s entrepreneurial spirit, we have innovated around the more traditional reunion programme to bring you our very first digital reunion!
We have taken some of the highlight moments of our traditional in-person reunions and incorporated them into a programme that enables you to reconnect with the school and with your classmates. In addition to an INSEAD update, you can interact with some of your favourite faculty, then gather with your class in breakout meetings for networking and fun.
I wanted to thank the class volunteers who, together with the Alumni Reunions team, have enthusiastically dived into developing a programme so that you can relive those special INSEAD memories.
Please bookmark this page as it will be updated with more details about the digital reunion, as well as with information about other celebrations for your class and links to your class gift campaigns.
I am excited about being part of this new initiative. I look forward to sharing some of the amazing stories about how you, the alumni community, have come together in these challenging times, demonstrating that INSEAD truly is a Force for Good. See you online!
With best wishes,

Ilian Mihov
Dean, INSEAD

As the COVID-19 crisis continues to escalate around the world, we at INSEAD consider the health and safety of our global community to be our greatest concern and highest priority. We would like to express our deepest solidarity with all those who are suffering the most from this international crisis.
To protect the wellbeing of students, faculty, staff, visitors and partners, we are implementing new measures in accordance with guidelines set by public health officials, governments and the World Health Organisation. Fortunately, a group of extremely dedicated people at INSEAD have been working around the clock to respond to the challenges posed by COVID-19.
Here is an update on our immediate plans and actions for the Europe Campus in Fontainebleau.
France – Europe Campus Closure: In compliance with French regulations, INSEAD will be closing its Europe Campus to students and visitors effective 16 March until further notice. Thus, INSEAD is ceasing all teaching and student-related events on the Europe campus for now.
Students and participants: Degree Programmes classes will begin transitioning to virtual instruction as of Monday. Our professors are fully up-to-speed on how to deliver courses online as we have been working with online learning delivery for some time. As such, we can swiftly put the necessary measures in place to ensure we can provide the best possible learning experience to students and participants while the campus closure is in effect. Classes on the Asia Campus will be held on-site as usual.
Staff: We are implementing teleworking as widely as possible for the staff in Fontainebleau. Please note that our Advancement team will continue to be available to you. Our plan is to work at our regular pace engaging with alumni virtually and continually updating you as we learn more about COVID-19.
Events: All INSEAD events on the Europe Campus have been cancelled through 31 May.
As a result, the reunion weekend scheduled for 29-31 May will not take place as planned. We will be communicating early next week with the classes impacted, along with anyone who has already registered to attend the Summer Ball, to share more information.
Events beyond 31 May are currently under review. We will send an update on the status when we know more.
Travel: Official travel for all staff and faculty is limited to essential travel. We also encourage all members of our community to keep their personal travel to a minimum.
We have launched a Facebook group to address urgent problems in our community. Together with the INSEAD Alumni Association (IAA) and the Project GreenCross team, we have created a closed Facebook group for the INSEAD community. We encourage you to join the group and use it to share problems (e.g.,“My country lacks the necessary medical supplies”) and possible solutions (e.g., “I’m the CEO of a company that can help”) related to the COVID-19 crisis.
The world is facing a crisis of tremendous proportions and we ask for your patience as we respond to this health crisis. We believe deeply in the strength of our community and know we will get through this together. Thank you for your flexibility, support and understanding. We will keep you updated as the situation develops.
Please feel free to review our FAQs in English and French and visit https://www.insead.edu/newsroom/covid-19-update for the latest information.
