The INDUSTRAT simulation has been designed to develop the strategic industrial marketing skill of students and executives. It provides a stimulating competitive environment in which strategic concepts can be applied and tested. Some of its features include: macro-segmentation, multiple decision-making and micro-segmentation, product positioning and corporate positioning, primary and supplementary supplier positions, product portfolio, interaction between marketing and technology, licensing activities and inter-company cooperation.
