Biography

Education:
B.A. in Psychology (Honors), Rice University

Jennifer Lee seeks to apply psychological principles in addressing social and organizational challenges. While at Rice University, Jennifer conducted an honors thesis on goal setting among adolescent students in Houston. The findings from her thesis were used to evaluate the efficacy of school districts’ student career programs. Her frequent collaborations with the Greater Houston Partnership, school districts, and civic organizations have contributed to her passion and interest in organizational research.

Currently, Jennifer is researching how individuals perceive others and their own behaviors in social contexts. She is interested in understanding how our perceptions, social norms, and identity inform our understanding of everyday interpersonal interactions. In terms of my research style, she uses quantitative experimental designs, archival data analysis, and meta-analysis.
