Tsinghua-INSEAD Executive MBA Ranked 4th and INSEAD Global Executive MBA Ranked 6th out of 100 programmes globally in the latest FT EMBA ranking
INSEAD, the leading international business school, earned top marks today for two of its programmes in the latest Financial Timesexecutive MBA rankings. The Tsinghua-INSEAD dual-degree Executive MBA (TIEMBA) programme was ranked 4th globally out of 100 programmes, while the INSEAD Global EMBA (GEMBA) programme ranked 6th in the world. These results maintain INSEAD’s top 10 position in the FT EMBA rankings among global business schools over the past three years.
This year is the first that the TIEMBA programme joins the FT ranking of the world’s top EMBA schools. INSEAD’s GEMBA continues to holds the title of the top-ranked EMBA programme offered by a single school.
“The experience and diversity of our EMBA participants, combined with the robust international exposure offered by the INSEAD EMBA faculty and programmes, is a real global advantage for us,” said Dipak C. Jain, Dean of INSEAD “Our strategically important EMBA programmes continue to increase in popularity, as seen by this year’s strong enrolment figures and the quality of these people is outstanding.”.
The TIEMBA programme, launched in 2007, offers the unique benefit of a dual-degree in an intensive, modular format. Participants spend just 12 weeks on campus over18 months with the remaining course time occurring in the workplace. This format enables participants to apply their knowledge immediately for greater practical impact and professional success. The TIEMBA programme has 47 students in the class graduating in January 2013 and 35 who will be graduating in January 2014. TIEMBA modules are delivered across four campuses: INSEAD’s three campuses in Singapore, Abu Dhabi and Fontainebleau and the Tsinghua campus in Beijing.
“Participants in our GEMBA and TIEMBA programmes enjoy the highest level of flexibility with INSEAD’s unsurpassed multi-campus structure, allowing senior-level executives to advance their knowledge of complex global business frameworks with minimal time away from the office,” said Peter Zemsky, INSEAD Deputy Dean, Degree Programmes and Curriculum. “GEMBA participants also share elective courses with TIEMBA students, adding valuable opportunities to build contacts with peers working in China. The programmes offer an authentic global perspective while connecting students to China, a significant growth region for business leaders.”
INSEAD introduced the GEMBA programme on its Singapore Campus in August; the strong enrolment figures testified to the increased demand for executive training in Asia. The Singapore campus effectively expands the GEMBA offering that operates in a weekend module format to provide greater flexibility and professional convenience for participants.
With the addition of the Asia GEMBA experience, INSEAD students gain an even richer unparalleled and holistic understanding of global business by enjoying the chance to study in Singapore as well as in Europe or the Middle East.
