Connecting Talent
On-Campus Recruitment
Twice a year organisations visit our campuses to interact with students in formal presentations and networking events. We also organise forum events on different themes, for example Social Impact and Entrepreneurship.
The Career Development Team welcomes around 260 companies on campus each year and sets up more than 4,000 interviews in our dedicated interview centre. For companies that are not in the same location as the student, interviews are conducted using our state-of-the-art videoconference system and Skype.
Company Coffee Chats
These more informal chats offer a great platform for students and recruiters to connect across a myriad of topics from company culture to employment opportunities.
Student Club Events
The Career Development Centre acts as a liaison between student clubs and the student body and facilitates activities such as treks to different regions to meet with selected companies in person. These can also be sector-specific (e.g. investment banking, media, high-tech, luxury and healthcare).
Developing Talent
Career Guidance
Each student is assigned their own personal Career Coach who will follow them throughout their career journey at INSEAD, beginning with their self-reflection at the start of the programme. Once this first phase is completed, students develop their relationship with the Employer Engagement team who will bring in the employers’ perspective and options for students to explore in their target sectors
Mock Interviews
Before the recruitment season starts, students have the opportunity to sign up for mock interview sessions to practice their interview skills in order to be better prepared for the interviews. These sessions are conducted by external moderators and members of Career Development Centre.
Career Development Workshops
During the year, the Career Centre organises a series of workshops related to the different stages of the students’ career journey. These range from developing a career vision, LinkedIn profile review, career design, The 2-Hour Job Search technique through to industry sector briefings, interview skills essentials and salary negotiation.
Marketing Talent
Employer Engagement Specialists
Our dedicated team of Employer Engagement professionals each has their individual portfolio of sectors which they focus on. Working closely with recruiters, they share student profiles and recruitment trends, providing advice on how to best engage our students and bring them more career opportunities.
CareerGlobe
CareerGlobe is INSEAD’s job search platform. Recruiters post their job opportunities, including full-time and short-term projects and internships, on this portal. Each year more than 5,000 opportunities are available to MBA students via CareerGlobe.
CV e-Books
For each MBA class, the Career Development Centre publishes the CVs of all students available for employment. The e-Book is available, free of charge, in CareerGlobe and is a key tool for both current and prospective recruiters.
