Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) is an 8 hour self-paced e-learning course that provides a visual introduction to the financial markets. BMC consists of 4 modules – Economics, Currencies, Fixed Income and Equities – woven together from Bloomberg data, news, analytics and television.

This is how you will learn about the databases that are recommended for your research.
Most databases can be accessed both on and off-campus by all INSEAD current degree participants, faculty and staff.
Or you can send your questions to our Research Specialists.
Database Sessions
This is how you can also maximise use of the databases for your research!
Faculty can make requests to arrange for group Zoom sessions with our data vendors by sending us an email.
The training are delivered by the database experts themselves from data providers such as Bloomberg, Preqin, Refinitiv (formerly Thomson Research), S&P, just to name a few!
Bloomberg Training
Bloomberg terminal is located in a private room within the Research & Learning Hub to facilitate the online certification and training programme. You can book the use of this service for a max of 2 hours during peak periods. Please approach any R&L Hub staff at the counter if you need further clarification.

The training programme is open to all INSEAD degree participants, faculty and staff, training is also conducted in the Singapore Bloomberg office located at:

Using the terminal, you can register for Bloomberg training, type BU or BMC and click <GO>. If you need assistance, press <HELP> button on the keyboard twice to reach out to Bloomberg support or approach library staff at the desk.
