Biography

Jens F. Meyer's research & teaching activities focus on various management aspects of new media and technology deployment (E-Learning, E-Commerce/Business, web-enabled Business Intelligence, and Change).

He holds a position as Adjunct Professor at INSEAD, as well as appointments at other academic institutions such as the University of Applied Science of Worms (Fachhochschule Worms) and CEDEP (European Centre for Continuing Education).

From Sophia Antipolis/France, where Jens graduated with an MBA in Innovation, Strategy and Information Technology in 1992, he went to INSEAD, Fontainebleau/France, where he co-founded the Centre for Advanced Learning Technologies and later joined RISE, the Centre for Research in Software Excellence.

He has developed and taught courses on E-marketing and Strategy, Cyber-Entrepreneurship (Entrepreneurial Innovation in the context of Business Start-ups), Business Intelligence, Change Management and Virtual Teams. He has lectured and presented in executive programs and gatherings in Austria, Denmark, England, France, Finland, Germany, Italy, Spain for a variety of firms, such as ALSTOM, AXA, BASF, Bouygues, Diageo, Douglas, IBM, L'Oreal, OCRA, Tempest Consultants, VALEO.

His consulting activities have centred around the challenge of leading incumbents to embrace new perspectives on doing business. Examples can be found in a variety of industries such as Retail, Telecommunication, Publishing, Financial Services, and Chemicals.
