Florian Schloderer is a Lecturer at INSEAD based in Abu Dhabi, and he is working for the INSEAD Randomized Controlled Trials Lab.
His research focuses on social categorization and networks in the context of new industry emergence and organizational change. He worked on a study about ecosystem development in the aerospace industry and the development of the GulfCom Simulation, an experience-based multimedia learning simulation for the training of change managers in the Middle East.
He teaches the Uncertainty, Data and Judgment Tutorial (GEMBA program), Applied Quantitative Methods for Business, Economics and Finance Foundation (pre-INSEAD course for GEMBA), and Change Management (Executive Education). He supports the courses Leadership in the Middle East and Beyond (GEMBA program) and Doing Business in the Middle East (MBA program). He leads the project for academic accreditation by the Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates.
Prior to joining INSEAD, he worked for his family’s business and received his doctoral degree from the Faculty of Economics and Organizational Studies at the Bundeswehr University Munich in Germany.
