This programme sharpened my strategic lens on AI, equipping me to lead transformation responsibly and ask the critical questions that drive real business impact.
What inspired you to join this programme, and what did you hope to achieve?
As a CEO and advisory board member, I wanted to strengthen my C-Level perspective on AI and digital transformation. My goal was to understand the practical implications for leadership when assessing use cases, technology and implementation, and to compare these with digital transformation processes I have successfully led in the past. I was also keen to exchange ideas with other senior leaders and learn from their perspectives on managing AI-driven change at scale.
In what ways has the programme shifted your perspective or influenced your approach to work?
The programme sharpened my conviction that strategy must always come first, and that AI should be embedded in a broader business and governance context rather than treated as a stand-alone technology. It reinforced the importance of designing sound change processes, while also keeping a sharp focus on customer value — AI should ultimately solve real customer problems. From a governance perspective, it strengthened my ability to oversee digital transformation responsibly, ensuring the right structures are in place and that management is challenged with the critical questions that drive sustainable success.
Which aspects of the experience stood out most for you (faculty, peers, content, format)?
What impressed me most was the calibre of the faculty. Professors and guest lecturers combined academic rigour with real-world experience, sharing best practices and insights in an engaging way. The content was exceptionally well structured, building knowledge step by step and always anchored in business reality. Nathan Furr’s outstanding storytelling in particular made the key lessons resonate and stick, ensuring they could be applied directly to leadership and governance. The opportunity to learn alongside such a high-level peer group further enriched the experience.
Can you describe a moment or insight that particularly resonated with you?
A moment that truly resonated with me was the reminder that transformation is ultimately about leadership responsibility. In the context of AI, where change is unparalleled in scope and moving at great speed, it is easy to overlook the human and societal dimensions. Yet as CEOs and board members, we must take accountability for how AI-driven change affects individuals and communities. Equally valuable, from a more technical angle, were the concrete frameworks and best practices we discussed — including guidance on timing, team structures and implementation. Together, these insights combined the human and technical dimensions of leadership in a powerful way.
Would you recommend this programme to others? If so, what makes it meaningful to you?
I would absolutely recommend this programme. What made it meaningful to me was the direct connection to real business challenges. Both the lectures and the breakout sessions provided practical insights and guidance that I could take back into my own work immediately. Most importantly, in my role as CEO and advisory board member, the course has equipped me with the knowledge and perspective to ask the right questions, exercise sound judgement, and act as an effective sparring partner in strategic discussions on AI and digital transformation.
