Leading AI and Digital Transformation

AI transformation is a leadership challenge, not a tech challenge

The programme gave me structured tools to connect AI strategy to culture, people, and storytelling — which I see as the real infrastructure for change.

1. What inspired you to join this programme, and what did you hope to achieve?

After leading digital transformation efforts across major global brands and having worked in Silicon Valley tech in recent years, I knew that AI is redefining the entire landscape. I joined the programme to go beyond the hype and build a deeper, strategic understanding of what AI means for leadership, culture, and organisational change. As a strategic adviser working at the intersection of growth, transformation, and narrative, I was looking for a deeper perspective on how to support organisations through this shift with clarity and coherence.

2. In what ways has the programme shifted your perspective or influenced your approach to work?

It sharpened my view that AI transformation is not primarily a tech challenge. It’s a leadership challenge. The programme gave me structured tools to connect AI strategy to culture, people, and storytelling — which I see as the real infrastructure for change.

3. Which aspects of the experience stood out most for you (faculty, peers, content, format)?

The combination of rigorous frameworks, inspiring faculty, real-life examples, and a global, diverse peer group made it a true learning sprint. Professor Nathan Furr’s approach to leading through uncertainty brought language and structure to things many leaders feel but can’t yet name.

4. Can you describe a moment or insight that particularly resonated with you?

Nathan shared the Latin phrase “Fluctuat nec mergitur” — tossed, but not sunk — as a symbol for navigating the uncertainty of change. That image stuck with me. In the age of AI, it’s about how we respond when the waves hit. That mindset of opportunity and resilience with direction has shaped how I can support others through change.

5. Would you recommend this programme to others? If so, what makes it meaningful to you?

Absolutely. It’s essential for any senior leader or adviser who wants to move beyond buzzwords and really understand how to shape transformation. You leave with not just insights, but a way to structure your thinking and guide others through complex change.
