Luca Verre MBA'14J

Luca Verre is the Co-Founder and CEO of Prophesee, a pioneering company at the forefront of neuromorphic vision systems. Under his leadership, Prophesee has become a global reference in event-based vision, developing revolutionary bio-inspired imaging technology that mimics how the human eye and brain work together to perceive the world. 

The company’s patented approach enables machines to see and understand dynamic scenes with unprecedented speed, efficiency, and precision—paving the way for new possibilities in AI, robotics, industrial automation, and mobility. He has led the company in raising significant venture funding and establishing strategic partnerships with global tech leaders such as Sony, Bosch, and Qualcomm.

Luca brings over 15 years of experience in technology, product innovation, and entrepreneurship. Before founding Prophesee in 2014, he held senior roles in strategy and product management at leading multinational corporations including Schneider Electric and Toyota, and was a research assistant in laser physics at Imperial College London. His cross-disciplinary expertise spans engineering, operations, and business development, with a strong track record of scaling deep tech ventures from lab to market.

He holds a double MSc in Electrical Engineering and Physics from Politecnico di Milano and École Centrale de Lyon, and an MBA from INSEAD. He is also recognized as a Technology Pioneer and Global Innovator by the World Economic Forum.
