Non-Executive Director, Centrica plc; Director and Trustee, Northern Ballet
Carol Arrowsmith has over 10 years of experience as a FTSE main board director chairing all remuneration committees and on the Audit committees. Her experience spans Compass plc – a FTSE 100 global catering business, Vivo Energy – a retail and distribution supplier of fuel and lubricants in Africa, and currently, she is a non-executive director of Centrica plc – a uniquely integrated energy company – ‘we make it, store it, move it, sell it and mend it’.
Before her plural career, Carol was a deputy chair and a senior partner heading the remuneration practice for Deloitte LLP for 12 years after leaving Andersen. She advised many large and international businesses on shaping their remuneration strategies to align with business goals and shareholder expectations. Over her career she advised many FTSE 100 companies together with businesses headquartered in US, Australia, South Africa and Europe.
Carol served a Trustee of Northern Ballet and as the remuneration advisor to the 2012 London Olympics.
