The Judith Connelly Delouvrier Scholarship was established in 1999 as an extension of the INSEAD Cartier Scholarship granted in the early nineties in support of outstanding female American MBA students.
The scholarship is as a permanent tribute to Judith Connelly Delouvrier, victim of the TWA Flight 800 tragedy in 1996. A warm and generous spirit, Judith was mother of Henry and Isabelle and the beloved wife of Philippe Delouvrier MBA'77.
Originally dedicated to American women at INSEAD, the scholarship enlarged its scope in 2007-2008 thanks to an additional endowed donation from the Class of MBA'77. Today, one scholarship is granted in each class to a deserving woman, irrespective of nationality.
The Class of MBA’77 has generously continued to grow the endowed fund for the scholarship, in particular at the time of their class reunions and for INSEAD Giving Day.
