Gilbert Ghostine is the Chief Executive Officer of Firmenich, where he is leading transformative growth with a focus on delivering differentiating value creation and innovation to his customers sustainably. A big believer that “what gets measured gets done,” Gilbert set Firmenich industry-leading sustainability goals, with a vision to become carbon neutral.

Gilbert has a deep understanding of the Consumer Goods and Luxury industries, having spent over two decades with Diageo, prior to leading Firmenich. During his 21 years with the world’s leading premium spirits company, he led businesses and lived across 4 continents: Africa, Asia, the United States and Europe.
Gilbert holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Saint Joseph University, Lebanon and completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. A Lebanese national, he is married with two children and is fluent in three languages.
