The MBA Experience: Lessons in Diversity
What is the MBA culture like at INSEAD? Some would say “diverse”. But what does diversity really mean? Certainly, it’s more than just gathering people of different identities, nationalities, and work backgrounds. In this video, four students explain what diversity means to them. They also relate their multicultural encounters with their peers and the lessons they learned from collaborating with people from all walks of life.

Technology and Innovation Strategy with Prof. Nathan Furr
It's hard to find an industry that isn't shaped by technology. But if you want to drive the direction of technology or define the way your organisation is affected by it, you'll need a set of analytical tools to understand the challenges. You'll also need to learn frameworks for developing a strategy. Taught by Nathan Furr, Assistant Professor of Strategy at INSEAD, Technology and Innovation Strategy is an MBA elective where you'll be exposed to different teaching techniques to enhance your learning experience. What's more, you'll be discussing and interacting with the latest technologies to see how the lessons are applied in the real world.
Strategy, Structure & Incentives with Prof. Maria Guadalupe

Entrepreneurship
At INSEAD, the vibrant entrepreneurship environment presents global opportunities for our MBA students to turn their ideas into real ventures.
We have a variety of entrepreneurship electives to provide students new insights to pull a business idea together. The INSEAD Centre for Entrepreneurship also organises exciting extracurricular activities—from bootcamps to venture competitions—to allow students to put their ideas and skills to the test. Finally, our active alumni community enables our students to network with successful entrepreneurs who can share their experiences building, funding, and growing companies.

If you are seeking to boost your career, explore a new career direction, or even to start your own business, INSEAD’s Career Development Centre (CDC) will support you throughout the entire process. Our global team across three campuses includes personal career coaches, employer engagement specialists, and operations team members who help guide our MBA students through the different stages of their journey throughout the programme. Working closely with our MBA students and recruiters, the Employer Engagement Team at INSEAD brings in the views of what industries need, and helps our MBA students develop a value proposition that makes them attractive to employers. With INSEAD’s three campuses in Asia, Europe and the Middle East, recruiters benefit by having a footprint in each of these geographies when hiring talents for global recruitments. Beyond working with MBA students and employers to find the right candidates for the right jobs, what makes the Employer Engagement Team successful, is when they are seen as trusted advisors by both companies and students. The Career Development Centre
As soon as you start the MBA programme, the Career Development team recommends that you begin to consider your career plan. Over the five periods of the programme, the Career Development team will organise a series of activities including: workshops, trainings, panel discussions, group and one-on-one counselling sessions.

A career in consulting offers our MBA students global exposure and the platform to apply their skill sets across a variety of topics – from market growth and strategy to operational excellence and capital productivity. At INSEAD, our team at the Career Development Centre (CDC) works closely with over 130 consulting firms around the world. The CDC prepares MBA students for their careers in consulting by designing programmes and activities for them to understand the sector and get ready for job interviews.
