“Surviving and thriving in dual career couples”
by Jennifer Petriglieri, Professor of Organisational Behaviour, INSEAD

About the event

You are warmly invited to attend our upcoming Women's Event to learn more about the journey of our INSEAD alumnae. Following the Masterclass, Michael Wort, Assistant Director of MBA Recruitment, will provide insights into the curriculum and the admissions process. Join us to ask our MBA Alumnae more in-depth questions about their experience, challenges and rewarding experience during their time at INSEAD. You will aslo have the opportunity to interact with them during a networking reception.

Synopsis

Sigmund Freud described love and work as the “cornerstones of our humanness”. Yet, as anyone who is part of a dual career couple can attest, succeeding at both is hardly straightforward. In this session, Jennifer Petriglieri will share some of the findings from her ongoing research on dual career couples. She will touch on the changing nature of romance and careers, question the myth of the “perfect  relationship” and offer some practical insights for those navigating love and work.
