EMBA is the acronym for Executive Master in Business Administration. The prefix “Executive” typically signals that the degree is targeted at professionals or executives who already have significant work experience as well as managerial responsibilities, and that it will be taught on a part-time or modular basis, enabling you to study while you work.
To ensure that you are making the right investment in your career development, when considering an EMBA you should check that the awarding school’s EMBA programme is fully accredited. There are three major accreditation bodies – AMBA, AACSB and EQUIS. These have been set up to ensure there is a level of consistency and quality across all graduate business qualifications that are being offered globally. Candidates considering an MBA or EMBA degree are advised to avoid unaccredited MBA programmes.
At INSEAD’s Executive MBA programme, you will receive a fully accredited and highly recognised Executive Masters in Business Administration degree, regularly ranked within the Top in Financial Time’s Executive MBA ranking.
