We are currently looking for a Recruitment & Business Development Manager to join our Degree Programmes department. This is a permanent, full time contract, based in our Fontainebleau campus.

The Recruitment & Business Development Manager will be part of the Degree Programmes Global Recruitment & Marketing team, which supports the generation of participants into the MBA, Masters in Management (MIM), Global Executive Masters in Finance (EMFIN), Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) and the Tsinghua / INSEAD Duel Degree Executive MBA (TIEMBA).

The Manager, in liaison with the senior management of the Department, will develop and implement all business development and sales activities in order to meet objectives in terms of application volume, diversity and quality of candidates. The jobholder will primarily focus on the GEMBA programme but will also play a key role in referring prospects too and supporting events for other Degree Programmes.

Main tasks include:

  • Responsible for supporting Degree Programmes across Europe and North Africa comprising all recruitment and business development activities for the GEMBA Programme across an agreed geographical zone.
  • Proactively contact leads assigned from the marketing team to convert them to new opportunities interested in the GEMBA programme
  • Organise recruitment events in your given market if necessary – these will be a combination of faculty masterclasses, alumni networking, institutional events and 1-2-1 conversations.
  • Event planning and budget management
  • Run masterclasses and information sessions (including sourcing hosts, faculty, supervising event organisation, ensuring sufficient alumni representation, sending follow up to participants, etc.)
  • Run online information sessions
  • Building relationships with corporates to promote INSEAD programmes across the region
  • Building relationships with candidates in the region (one-on-one meetings, follow up calls, etc)
  • Ensuring a social media presence by generating content for and interact with target audience
  • Building relationships with alumni in the region and effectively leveraging the local alumni community for marketing purposes
  • Manage your pipeline effectively to ensure maximum applications and ensure the applicants meet the criteria of the admissions committee
  • Attend general networking, educational seminars and business specific events to generate new leads
  • Support applicants in any way throughout their journey prior to application for an INSEAD programme
  • Support faculty on introduction days giving campus tours and fielding questions
  • Lead positive and productive collaborations with Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Marketing, Event Officers, MBA and MIM Recruiting, Exec Degree Operations, MBA Operations Financial Aid, Faculty, Career Development, Student Affairs, and other internal stakeholders

 The ideal candidate for the position should have the following profile:

  • Experience in a sales / recruitment / talent acquisition environment.
  • 5 years of experience minimum and be passionate about sales.
  • Ability and desire to travel 30% of the time. Travelling to run events and meet potential programme participants.
  • Motivated by targets & customer experience, can show aptitude for suggesting ideas and is organized and who can demonstrate this through examples.
  • Self-motivation & focus is important, as management team is global.
  • Experience in education preferred but not essential.
