INSEAD is currently looking for a Programme Advisor to join our Executive Education Department (EDP). This is a permanent and full-time position that will be based at our Asia Campus in One-North, Singapore.

Reporting to the Associate Director Sales Open Enrolment Programmes, the Programme Advisor is responsible for advising both individual and corporate (HR/Learning & Development) clients on INSEAD’s Executive Education’s Open Enrolment Programmes (OEP). They will manage the entire sales process, moving candidates in the sales funnel to application status, for a group of assigned OEPs to ensure sales targets are met while maintaining the quality and diversity of participants. They will also nurture corporate clients for repeat utilization of our Open Programmes for developing their talent pool.

Key Responsibilities will include

  • Achieves or exceeds sales targets for the assigned cluster of programmes. Monitors performance of the designated portfolio against plan and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Personally prospects for sales and follows up on individual INBOUND opportunities to close the sale. This implies effective advising and screening of participants, where necessary.
  • Advises potential participants, their sponsors and other stakeholders by telephone, video call, face-to-face meetings, email or other means, to help them identify their professional development needs and recommend appropriate programmes.
  • Maintains long-term client relationships with clients (individuals and corporations) to up/cross-sell the full portfolio of Open & Online programmes through various means.
  • Meets participants on campus, for example by attending certain social events for programmes including opening and closing dinners.
  • Updates CRM system with contacts and interaction with them.
  • Identifies strengths and weaknesses of programmes against market needs or competition, and communicates with the marketing team to recommend possible innovation or corrective action.

To be successful in this role, you should have

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Work Experience: At least 4 years of relevant work experience, including 1 or 2 years in customer service and/or sales role (telesales if possible)

Technical Competencies:

  • Excellent command of English (oral and written)
  • Knowledge and experience in CRM solutions (such as Salesforce, Oracle, etc.) is a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Zoom, MS Teams

Behavioural Competencies:

  • Highly driven and able to quickly pick up and understand the suite of our products and clients’ needs
  • Able to prospect and close sales effectively
  • Good interpersonal skills including listening skills; effective telephone sales skills
  • Proactive self-starter with good organisational skills
  • Collaborates well with diverse teams; able to engage with diverse prospects and clients as well as internal stakeholders such as Faculty, Marketing and other departments, providing a high level of customer service
  • Able to engage comfortably and hold conversations with Senior Management of Corporate Clients on their development needs and to put forward INSEAD’s value proposition and programmes
  • Able to work autonomously, with a strong sense of customer orientation
