Job Description

The INSEAD Gender Initiative (IGI) seeks a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow at INSEAD’s Singapore campus. The postdoctoral fellow will be provided with a salary and a small personal research budget, and will join in the ongoing research and service of the IGI. This is a three-year position assuming academic achievement and service at a level at or above expectations, with annual formal reviews.

One core aspect of this Postdoctoral Fellow’s role will be to analyze and serve as an author/coauthor on publications coming from existing data. The postdoc is funded by a foundation upon an agreement to assess potential cross-cultural variations and cross-cultural generalizability in respondents’ values and experiences within existing datasets, as well as other related questions at the intersection of gender, identity, and culture. Detailed information about the IGI goals and published research to date are available on our Gender Initiative Page.

We are especially interested in candidates whose established research experience and expertise overlap with the specific goals of the role regarding theoretical and/or methodological approaches. Specifically, ongoing research projects will focus on gender-related vulnerabilities and sources of resiliency, as well as support for diversity in global business contexts. A proportion of the postdoc’s time will also be dedicated to publishing his/her ongoing research projects.
