Job Description

A position of PeopleSoft System Analyst is now available in the IT team of INSEAD

 (Permanent contract, full time based on the Europe Campus, starting asap)

 

The PeopleSoft System Analyst maintains, designs, prototypes, develops and tests the functionality requested in the Student Life Cycle and HR systems. He/She elaborates an appropriate documentation to prepare the delegation within the team or external consultants.  The technologies to master are PeopleTool 8.56 and above, object-oriented languages, databases, web services. He /She collaborates to integrate with other third-party applications. He/She analyses the clients’ specifications, evaluates and delivers the necessary developments.

He/She participates to workshops to explain the Student Life Cycle System Functionalities within the IT department and the Business.

The PeopleSoft System Analyst receives direction, resources and support on his/her plans from the Student and HR Systems manager who reports to the Head of Development

 

Required profile:

  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment across all 3 campuses and with all relevant stakeholders across multiple layers of hierarchy
  • Ability to link the strategies of the school, business unit and IT together in the development of projects
  • Ability to assimilate User Requirements and propose technical solutions with clear evaluation of costs, risks, limitations
  • Capacity to synthesise and present the technical recommendations
  • Extensive knowledge of technology and internal IT processes and policies
  • Ability to adopt technology for excellent user experience
  • Ability to represent the Development Team within the IT Department and Business Units by developing functionalities in coherence with the requirements and the INSEAD policies
  • Master’s degree in Information Systems
  • Significative experience with PeopleSoft projects and developing
  • Excellent knowledge of PeopleSoft Code, application engine, package and Integration Broker
  • Experience with SOAP Protocol and XML Data transfer
  • Excellent level of English
  • Be autonomous and a good team player
  • Ability to adapt in a multi-cultural environment
