We are currently looking for a Marketing & Events Officer to join the team within the Marketing & Recruitment Department on our Singapore campus. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Events, the Marketing & Events Officer is primarily responsible for managing the organization of 60 to 90 recruitment events per year for all Degree Programmes. Working hand in hand with the Assistant Directors of Marketing & Recruitment, the jobholder is responsible for driving attendance to events, and directly contributes to the generation of target application numbers.

Main tasks include:

Events organisation:

  • Organise full logistics and ensure support for the smooth running of on-campus, off-campus, online and hybrid recruitment events, for all Degree Programmes
  • Publicise and promote events on social media channels
  • Manage the communication and the relationship with the venue (physical events)
  • Introduce online events, provide support for Q&A (moderator), manage recording of event and post-event communications to prospects
  • Run post-event reports, analyse the performance of each event to bring forward new ideas and efficiencies

Innovation, side activities:

  • Identify opportunities for process and event management improvements, as well as developing and implementing new procedures
  • Contribute an integral role in setting organization priorities, project timelines and provide feedback for ensuring highest quality of event production, in order to bring more effective results
  • Bring creative, and suggest technical innovations for visuals and blurbs (including for online events)
  • Special marketing projects that ultimately support events

The ideal candidate should have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree/level
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a position requiring organisational skills (marketing/ event management would be a plus)
  • Fluent English (written & oral); Fluent Chinese or other Asian languages (written & oral) would be a plus
  • Excellent CRM/database management skills, tech-savvy skills (ability to deal with multiple systems), or strong interest and willing to learn
  • Strong IT skills (Pack Office)
  • Detail-oriented: Pay close attention to the specifics of email content, workflow, and communications
  • Outstanding planning and organizing skills
  • Able to prioritize, to manage multiple events simultaneously, to juggle with tight deadlines while delivering top-notch execution
  • Able to adapt to change and having a sense of initiatives
  • Able to adjust working time outside of regular working hours, for events happening on evenings or weekends
  • Strong team player spirit, committed, reliable
  • Autonomous, ability to work with remotely based colleagues
