Job Description

Course Manager, Online Programmes, Executive Education

Full-time - Permanent role - Singapore Campus

Please note we are only accepting internal candidates currently for this role

As the Business School for the World, INSEAD brings together people, cultures and ideas from around the world to change lives and transform organisations. The unique global perspective and multicultural diversity of INSEAD are reflected in all aspects of its research and teaching.

In 2015, the launch of INSEAD's first customised online programme re-established the leading position for INSEAD in the online space. Since then, a small online team has grown into a larger online team to build advantage in designing, developing and launching online educational programmes. The online department has seen exciting growth since its inception: revenue, number of clients, number of participant and size of team has been doubling every year. The success of the online department is also signified by the recognitions from prestigious award bodies around the globe, such as CLO Learning in Practice Awards, Brandon Hall HCM Excellence Awards, and EFMD Excellence in Practice Awards.

The online space moves fast with the advancement of technology and the adoption from organizations and individuals. In 2016, as a strategic move to strengthen INSEAD’s leading position in online executive education, INSEAD launches its first Open Enrolment Programme (referred to as Open Online Programmes hereon).

The Course Manager is an individual performer position who works within the team to deliver online programmes – both our open online programmes and our customised online programmes. They are expected to focus on the execution of the projects while at all times maintaining excellent standards of delivery and content management.

Projects will include designing, building and delivering open or customised online programmes together with colleagues in France and Singapore. To do this the Course Manager will need to build external relationships with clients and collaborate with other internal teams within INSEAD (including Faculty) and third-party partners.

We would expect the Course Manager to deliver multiple programmes within one year, and to work on internal projects around design, delivery and innovation within the online team to improve our offerings.

For this role we are looking for a smart, adaptable and fast person with an interest in online education. We are quite open on background, but the person should come with at least the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top school; preferably in business, engineering, administration or related disciplines.
  • A minimum of three years of work experience or internship in project or process management, higher education or web-based technology is preferred or potentially experience doing administrative tasks in an academic setting.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Basic knowledge of web-based technologies.
  • Project management skills preferred (planning, process oriented, execution, etc.).

If you are an internal member of INSEAD staff interested in applying, please write to the Talent Acquisition Team at [email protected]
