We are currently looking for a Course Manager for our Online Education Department on the Europe Campus (temporary contract, minimum 4 months, full time).
Since 2014, INSEAD has become the pioneer and leader in customised online programme. INSEAD online programmes has helped many companies, large and small, to transform their business and organisation in this VUCA era. The field of online education continues to be the centre of innovation for new pedagogical design and learning technology. INSEAD, as a leader in online education, continue to drive innovation in this field. The Online Education Department, under the direction of Dean of Innovations and the Global Director of Online Programmes and Innovations, is the core of cultivating and harvesting these critical knowledge and capabilities.
The main purpose for this position, Course Manager, Online Programmes, is to assist the process of launching online courses (or programme). The programmes may be developed for external clients or internal client Degree Programme. The position holder reports to Director, Customised Online Programmes. On a project basis, the position holder is under the supervision of the Associate/Assistant Director or Project Manager, Online Programmes.
Most importantly, the position holder will execute the process of re-running the online courses and inputs into the continuous improvement of these processes.
The position holder will also ensure smooth management of team logistics and client workshop logistics. The position holder holds essential responsibilities in applying and enhancing the knowledge and capabilities developed in the online team, which include project management skills and learning asset management skills.
As the Online Education department continues to grow, the position holder will also share the responsibility of integrating the Online team into the rest of the organization at INSEAD, and collaborating across departments.
The ideal candidate for the position should have the following profile:
- Graduates in one of the following disciplines preferred:
- Business or related disciplines, e.g. business administration
- Communications or related disciplines, e.g. marketing communications
- Cognitive sciences or related disciplines, e.g. learning and cognitions
- Computer sciences or related disciplines, e.g. software engineering
- First work experience or internship in following areas preferred, but not required:
- Project or process management
- Web-based technology
- Administrative tasks in an academic setting
- Business fluency in English
- Good Microsoft Office skills, basic knowledge of web-based technologies
- Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Attention to details (quality assurance)
- Project management skills preferred (planning, process oriented, execution, etc.)
