The purpose of this role is to increase marketing efficiencies and build a foundation for marketing operational excellence by participating in timely execution of marketing campaigns according to plan, re-engineering & reinforcing key business processes, mastering marketing technologies, analysing key business metrics, and cultivating best-in-class business practices.

The incumbent will have to work with cross-functional teams and global virtual teams to:

  • Execute pre-planned marketing campaigns, but also flex the plan depending on business needs and in parallel with managing implementation/change with tools/web/systems
  • Support the transition and internalizing of projects from idea incubation, proof-of-concept or prototyping to final deployment or stable internal processes that helps to improve Business Performance
  • Better synergise activities across different marketing channels, lower cost per lead and increase top of funnel sales pipeline

Main Accountabilities

  • Support a Direct Marketing Plan with 160+ email marketing campaigns planned to generate an increased volume of leads to meet revenue targets
  • Targeting external database of 5 million to grow EDP’s marketable database
  • Support the part in-sourcing of Online Ad Display to support the growth of EDP’s business
  • Manage the Yearly Marketing ROI Study to help provide insights to help investments in marketing channels
  • Help undertake Research Projects, assist with Programme Reviews or other deep analysis to support the Department
  • Support the growth of OEP, marketing of Online Programmes and the launch of the US Campus
  • Specific skills needed to use PowerBI to provide deep analysis for key Business insights as well as generate and enhance the yearly Marketing ROI analysis
  • Help achieve synergies between 160 e-mail marketing campaigns and Online Marketing budget with the in-sourcing through use of DCM (DoubleClick Campaign Manager)

To be successful in this role you will have

  • 5-8 years experience in a marketing automation role or similar
  • A deep understanding of digital marketing & data analytics
  • Exposure to SQL, R, Python and various CRM systems would be advantageous
