We are currently looking for a Catering Delivery Manager to join our Campus Services Department. This is a full-time permanent contract, based on our Europe campus in Fontainebleau.

The Catering Delivery Manager is responsible for the monitoring and quality of catering services on campus while respecting performance requirements, safety regulations and budget constraints. 

 

Main tasks include:

Contract and provider Management: She/he is responsible for the performance of the catering contract. She/he ensures the qualitative follow-up in compliance with financial conditions negotiated by the procurement department. Also manages other smaller contracts (coffee machines, vending machines..)
Leads operational touchpoints, monthly and quarterly business review meetings with the catering partner. Preparation of reports.

Services Delivery: Under the supervision of the Hospitality Director, she/he establishes and operates services, robust processes, using industry wide best practices. Develops KPIs, SLAs, customer satisfaction surveys, along which she/he insures efficient and measured performances of the catering operation. 

Admin tasks & stock supervision : Approves POs and checks corresponding invoices. Identifies purchase requirement & monitors crockery and small equipment stocks.

HSE: She/he is responsible for the safety of people and activities related to Catering activities. She/he ensures that services providers respect safety procedures as part of their on-site activities. In collaboration with the HSE Manager, controls the respect of hygiene, safety rules, and quality procedures. Regulatory watch, monitoring of food waste - recycling, contributes to sustainable initiatives on campus and drives change of consumer behaviour.

Food Trends & Concepts : Works on the evolution of catering concepts with our catering partner and adapts the INSEAD offer accordingly. Attentive to technological developments and digital applications.

Investment et Projects: Contributes to define the annual investment plan to cover the needs for the renewal of kitchen and dining equipment. May be required to participate in the renovation and/or extension projects of the campus. She/he will help define our catering strategy and catering concepts. 

 

The ideal candidate should have the following:

  • Chef de Cuisine with Management School degree or Hospitality Management profile specialized in catering
  • AMO for catering consultant / Management experience in collective catering
  • Combination of technical skills and service knowledge
  • Customer focus, good communication skills, proactive, good organization, ability to manage crisis, analytical and strategic thinking
  • High level of written and spoken French and English is a must
