With the school’s ever growing expansion to meet the needs of the world’s education needs, the Degree Programmes Department is currently looking to fill the role of Admissions Manager to be based in our Asia campus at One-North, Singapore. This is a permanent and full-time position. This Manager would be responsible for handling applications for our full-time degree programmes.

The Admissions Manager plays an important role in the applicant’s journey by acting as the face of INSEAD admissions for marketing and recruiting activities. It is the pivotal role in interaction between Admissions Committee members, Faculty and other internal stakeholders on the Singapore campus. Essentially, the Admissions Manager establishes primary responsibility for ensuring the quality of the applicant pool and the quality of the candidate experience through the pre-selection and application stages. With excellent customer service and follow-up, the Admissions Department is also key to maintaining our candidate retention rate.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating MBA and MIM applicants at pre-selection stage
  • Taking admissions decisions at pre selection stage
  • Ensuring the quality of the candidate pool for programmes and making recommendations to the Admissions Committee
  • Ensuring the quality of candidate data
  • Building candidate relationships throughout the admissions process and contributing to the yield  and retention efforts
  • Collaborating across the Degree Programmes Admission Team to contribute to delivering an outstanding quality of experience to candidates, before and throughout the process
  • Engaging with alumni interviewers and meeting with prospective candidates
  • Acting as the Admissions representative in Marketing events both on and off campus

To succeed in the role you will need the following skill set:

  • Bachelor degree ideally in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Social/Behavior Science
  • 5 years minimum work experience
  • Fluent written and spoken English, additional languages an asset
  • Good level of IT skills : Pack Office (good user of Excel, Word and PowerPoint), and ability to quickly learn to use IT tools (ideally knowledge of PeopleSoft)
  • Good decision-making skills and a meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a team and with a strong team spirit
  • Strong discretion and respectful of confidentiality
