Talent and Technology : Shaping the future of work

18 April 2017

INSEAD Asia Campus

Launched for the first time in 2013, the Global Talent Competitiveness Index (GTCI) is an annual benchmarking study measuring the ability of countries to compete for talent. Designed as a practical tool for governments, businesses and non-profit organisations, the GTCI ranks over 100 economies according to their ability to develop, attract and retain talent. In addition, 2017 will also see the launch of the first index focused on cities: The Global Cities Talent Competitiveness Index (GCTCI).

The 2017 GTCI study focuses on the effects of technology on talent competitiveness and the nature of work, exploring the challenges and opportunities as well as important shifts away from traditional salaried approaches to work.

The Singapore launch event provides the region a unique opportunity to debate on how digitalization, algorithms and robotics are changing the work and business scene in Asia Pacific, and the path that Asia should pursue through the inevitable global upheavals so as to ensure future prosperity for its businesses and its peoples.

GTCI combines the academic research and expertise of INSEAD, the international business school, and Singapore’s Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI) with the business experience and global perspective of The Adecco Group, the world’s leading workforce solutions provider.
