Chairman of the INSEAD Board Invests €1 Million in INSEAD
Andreas Jacobs, MBA’90D, Member of the Board of Jacobs Holding AG and Chairman of the INSEAD Board of Directors, has led by example and made a significant investment in INSEAD with an unrestricted gift of €1 million in endowed funds.
Gifts such as this allow INSEAD to continue to compete and innovate at the top of its league. The fact that it is unrestricted and endowed is a strong testament to the trust felt in the direction that the Dean and the leadership team are taking the school, and a means to enable the Dean to fund areas and initiatives he considers critical to INSEAD’s success. Indeed, this investment helps to solidify a robust financial base for the school in perpetuity.
Mr. Jacobs explained, “I have pledged to step up my giving because I believe in INSEAD. I believe in our Dean, the importance of our mission and vision, the strength of our faculty and staff and the prospects for our future. I also believe that our alumni play a crucial role in INSEAD’s next chapter, and that it’s our responsibility to give back to the school to secure its success.”
“On behalf of the school, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Andreas for this generous gift. His contribution demonstrates the crucial role of our Board and our alumni in ensuring that we maintain our leadership position in the future,” responded Ilian Mihov, INSEAD’s Dean.
