This paper traces the antecedents of social psychology theories of procedural justice and explores the applicability of this theory to the management of multinational enterprises. A review of the authors' field study testing the role of procedural justice in implementing global strategies is given. The paper also discusses the managerial implications of procedural justice in the multinational and outlines areas for further research.
