Rangan S. (2008). Globalization the JEDI Way. In Industry and Parliament Trust
While the idea of efficiency rightly constitutes the core of global capitalism, for the global economic system to be sustainable, business actors will have to heed also the ideas of justice, diversity, and integrity.
Arguably, in human society, justice is an even more important idea than efficiency. Hence the proposal for JEDI capitalism (where actors are educated to attend to justice, efficiency, diversity, and integrity—and not only to efficiency). In this essay the author explains these terms and explains why such broadening is necessary.
