Biography
Wesley W. Koo is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at INSEAD. In his research, Wesley examines how digital platforms and technology affect business and society. Specifically, his research focuses on platform governance. For instance, he studies rural entrepreneurs' ability to navigate algorithmic changes and how platform rules affect the well-being of foreign domestic workers.
Wesley received his Ph.D. at Stanford University, where his research was supported by the Stanford Technology Ventures Program, Stanford SEED, Accel Partners, Strategic Management Society, and Alibaba Group. Prior to Stanford, Wesley was a tech entrepreneur and received dual degrees in Environmental Engineering and Management from MIT.
