Biography
In November 2019, Viktor joined the Humanitarian Research Group as a Research Associate. Before INSEAD, Viktor had work experience in the consulting sector. He studied Business Engineering at Ghent University, Belgium, where he focused on Operations. As part of his studies, he spent a year abroad at the Technical University of Munich.
His Master’s thesis addressed the problem of uncertainty in the roll shop of a major steel company, in which problem structuring and real-life handling of uncertainty were major concerns. These topics are transferable to the research carried out by the Humanitarian Research Group, since humanitarian operations are typically characterized by highly uncertain environments. He is strongly committed to using his background to combine both soft and hard skills to deliver impactful research.
