Maria Joachim is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Technology and Operations Management at INSEAD.
Maria is an organizational ethnographer and field researcher with her research primarily informed by qualitative methods. In her current work, she is leading her team’s effort to better identify, understand and propose improvement approaches for Pathogen Genomic Sequencing Supply Chains across Low- and Middle-Income countries, with a focus on Africa and South Asia.
Maria holds a Ph.D. in Health Services Organization and Policy with a cognate in Management and Organizations from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, USA). Maria earned a M.Sc. in Global Health and Population with a focus on Health Systems at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (Boston, USA).
