Given the many challenges companies face in today's turbulent business environment, organisations need board members with the proven knowledge, skill and sensitivity to guide them towards sustainable value creation.
The INSEAD Certificate in Corporate Governance offers an opportunity for directors to prove - and improve - their effectiveness and excellence.
Why Choose the Certificate
INSEAD’s Certificate in Corporate Governance is designed to be a global credential for board members operating internationally – one of the first of its kind offered by an academic institution. The certificate attests to a director’s commitment to continuously develop her or his effectiveness and excellence, by applying and building upon the skills and knowledge acquired through successful attendance of the International Directors Programme.
To obtain the Certificate candidates must meet the following requirements:
Successful participation in the 3 programme modules
Demonstration of the necessary credibility to assume board roles
evidence of a spirit of continuous self-improvement in board service
Capable of applying the programme learning to actual board contexts as demonstrated through a written report
Oral defence of the report at the discretion of the Certification Committee
INSEAD Alumni Community
Successful completion of the certificate enables participants to become a part of the INSEAD alumni community (currently 50,400 alumni worldwide). Within this community, participants become a part of an international network of senior peer directors (IDP-C), who stay connected with INSEAD and its faculty for continuous exchange on research and best practice.
