Friday 13 April

INSEAD Women in Business lunch & discussion
From 12:45 to 14:15 at the Microsoft Reactor

The IWIB club invites you to join a lunch discussion on best practices to achieve gender parity across different companies, with a focus on Canada's experience. The growing presence of women in entrepreneurship and finance communities will also be discussed.

INSEAD Alumni Hackathon
From 14:30 to 15:45 at Salesforce East

Join Deputy Dean Peter Zemsky for an interactive session on the design and execution of INSEAD’s North American strategy. Come give us your inputs on strategic questions based on the interests of the group.

Entrepreneurs Workshop
From 16:00 to 17:15 at Salesforce East

The US INSEAD Alumni Association is pleased to hold a hands-on workshop session for alumni, from start-ups, new ventures and companies, to brainstorm, receive practical advice and feedback from experienced investors and mentors, and network with other INSEAD entrepreneurs.

Networking dinners
From 20:00 onwards

Local alumni bring you to their favourite restaurants in town. What better way to socialise with participants and discover the city through their eyes!

Sunday 15 April

Napa Valley Wine Tour
From 10:30 to 17:00

Napa Valley is probably the best known American Viticultural Area, with over 500 wineries dotting the picturesque valley. The tour we offer includes a visit and wine tasting at both the Tres Sabores and the Robert Mondavi wineries. Transportation to and from the InterContinental as well as lunch will be provided.

Dress code
Ocean-inspired formal attire. Think turquoise, coral, purple, sea blue, fish, seashells, mermaids, pirates, sailboats, anchors, pearls, sequins... For men, try a fun fishy shirt or tie or some nautical cufflinks. For women, maybe a mermaid-style gown or some turquoise and coral jewelry. Use your imagination -- The World is Your Oyster!

Raffle
Prize is a 4-night all inclusive stay at the Turks & Caicos resort. Tickets will be sold for $5 each throughout the day on Saturday, and the drawing will be at 11:00PM at the party.

The Venue

The INSEAD Alumni Forum Americas will be held at the InterContinental San Francisco, a graceful tower of translucent cool-blue, soaring 32 stories above the vibrant South of Market (SoMa) neighborhood of San Francisco. The tower is among the city's most admired landmarks.

The dress code for the Alumni Forum is business casual.

Media, filming and photography

INSEAD may engage professional photographers for this event. All sessions will be filmed. We reserve the right to use any film and/or photography from the event in our print and digital marketing collateral. Delegates who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should contact the INSEAD Events team prior to the event.

Party Venue

The Gala Party on Saturday will be held at The Pearl. Nestled in San Francisco’s waterfront Dogpatch district, The Pearl finds itself at the heart of one of the city’s most historical and culturally rich neighborhoods. Enjoy its gorgeous rooftop views of The Bay as well as its permanent art installations while partying in the best INSEAD tradition!
