Impact 2020 Conference

The INSEAD-Wharton Alliance is hosting an academic conference “Impact 2020” on themes related to impact investing and social impact, and hybrids on March 11 and 12 2020 on INSEAD’s Asia Campus, Singapore. There is increasing academic and practitioner interest in best practices for investment and execution of impact, whether it be better ways to screen, fund, contract, measure performance, execute, or run organizations and initiatives that incorporate objectives with broader societal benefit. The Impact 2020 conference will bring academics together from INSEAD, Wharton, and institutions around the world, with interests in impact investing and social impact, to further our understanding on these important themes.

The conference will follow a typical day-and-a-half program starting lunchime March 11, and will consist of several research presentations by Andre Calmon, Jody Grewal, Witold Hensisz, David Musto, Karl Lins, Jasjit Sigh and Tyler Wry.  The conference program also includes two industry/expert panels, and a presentation by the Chair of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, Jeffrey Hales. The Impact 2020 conference is funded by the Hoffmann Global Institute for Business & Society at INSEAD and the INSEAD-Wharton Alliance.
