World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa
19-21 May, 2017
Dead Sea, Jordan
INSEAD launched the MENA Talent Competitiveness Index 2017, in partnership with Google, during the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa held in Jordan in May 2017. The report focuses on how technological advances are affecting talent competitiveness and the nature of work. It thereby explores significant challenges, opportunities, and important shifts away from traditional working approaches. Policy recommendations include, amongst others, building strong skills ecosystems through education for employment, private-public-people partnerships, and a strong integration and adaption of technology in the classroom. The report draws from the Global Talent Competitiveness Index (GTCI 2017), an annual INSEAD benchmarking report that ranks 118 economies according to their ability to grow, attract and retain talent.
