Governing Sustainability for Long-Term Impact

26-27 June 2020, Singapore

Governing Sustainability for Long-Term Impact

Organised by the INSEAD Corporate Governance Centre (ICGC), in collaboration with the Hoffmann Global Institute for Business and Society (HGIBS) and World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD)

As global environmental and societal challenges escalate, company board directors can no longer take a “wait-and-see” approach and assume business as usual. To remain successful and strengthen resilience, businesses today need to start the transition to limiting environmental impacts and addressing social inequality. Stakeholders are increasingly expecting corporate boards and business owners to take a proactive, leading stand to exercise their fiduciary duty in tackling sustainability issues and applying the most effective tool to unlock long-term value to people, planet and business performance.

INSEAD Corporate Governance Centre (ICGC), in collaboration with the Hoffman Global Institute for Business and Society (HGIBS) and World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) will jointly host the 15th edition of the INSEAD Directors Forum, Asia edition, in Singapore on 26-27 June 2020.

The two-day thought leadership Forum on the theme “Governing Sustainability for Long-Term Impact” will address the pertinent challenges of governing sustainability from the perspectives of risks, purpose, ownership and ethical dilemmas. Discover the keys to generate sustainable economic, societal and environmental impact as we bring together faculty experts, board directors and top executives for a stimulating governance exchange and debate to scan global changing landscape and share how businesses today can shape and navigate towards long-term sustainability.
