We went back to the World Economic Forum where faculty gave a master class in the SDG Tent
We were once again in Davos for the World Economic Forum thanks to our partnership with InTent, where professor Amitava Chattopadhyay gave a master class in the SDG Tent based on a VR case developed by the INSEAD Immersive Learning Initiative focusing on AAK’s Kolo Nafaso program for direct shea sourcing to understand how businesses can concurrently pursue societal and commercial goals around a successful CSR program. Read our key takeaways here. We were also accompanied by Dean Francisco Veloso and professor Subramanian Rangan who both took part in multiple sessions taking place in the SDG Tent.
We hosted four sessions of Les Conférences de l'INSEAD
We wrapped up the 37th season of this conference series with the participation of Pierre Calame, Alain Juppé and Professor Henri-Claude De Bettignies who founded this conference series in 1987 and who will be stepping down after having organized a phenomenal 171 conferences.
We welcomed the launch of the middle eastern chapter of Business Schools for Climate Leadership at COP28 and a new PhD course on organizing the climate transition.
In a region characterized by unique challenges, read the press release announcing the creation of the Business Schools for Climate Leadership Middle East cluster. The new BS4CL-designed and -delivered PhD course entitled Organising the Climate Transition aims to teach the next generation of management scholars about the challenges that organizations are currently facing as they navigate the climate transition.
We collaborated with MIM students for INSEAD Health Week and sponsored a virtual climate simulation workshop for MBA students.
We collaborated with MIM students and the Student Life team to co-organize the 2024 edition of INSEAD Health Week featuring lectures, workshops and hands-on activities showcasing the importance of mental and physical wellbeing as part of their leadership journey. We sponsored an EN-Roads virtual climate simulation workshop for MBA students where they were asked to make public policy decisions to meet IPCC targets.
We published INSEAD’s Sustainability report and 8 blogs on our website.

We were recognized as the Poets & Quants 2023 MBA Program of the Year with an accolade related to our commitment to integrating sustainability into our curriculum. We also celebrated our increased carbon reduction commitment score contributing to INSEAD’s 2nd position in the latest Global MBA FT ranking.
