Xinni Wu joined INSEAD as a Pre-Doctoral Researcher in the Strategy department in January 2023. Her research interest lies in the interdisciplinary field of data, strategic decision-making, labour economics, and gender inequality.
Xinni earned her BSc in Mathematical Sciences and Economics from Carnegie Mellon University and her MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford. For her Master’s thesis, she studied the overwork phenomenon in South Korea, utilizing causal inference methodologies with STATA. Currently, Xinni is studying part-time towards her second Master’s degree in Data Science from the University of Texas, Austin, where she continues to master her data expertise in machine learning, with applications of R and Python.
